Job Responsibilities: 

  Oversee and coordinate the activities of sales staff and cashiers.

  Assign duties to sales workers and create work schedules.

  Approve payments and process merchandise returns.

  Address and resolve customer requests, complaints, and supply shortages.

  Manage inventory levels and place orders for merchandise as needed.

  Prepare reports on sales performance, merchandising, and personnel matters.

  Recruit, hire, and train new sales staff or arrange training programs, and monitor employee performance.

  Maintain the store's visual standards, including displays, signage, and cleanliness.

  Perform tasks similar to those of the staff being supervised when necessary.

  Handle keyholder and managerial responsibilities, such as opening and closing the store, resolving escalated complaints, developing marketing strategies, and signing for deliveries.
