Job Duties:

Transporting and unloading construction materials, tools, and equipment.
Organizing and stocking materials at the job site.
Assisting in the mixing and preparing of concrete, mortar, or other building materials.
Setting up barricades, cones, and warning signs to ensure safety.
Digging trenches and excavating areas for foundations or utilities.
Assist heavy equipment operators to secure special attachments to equipment, signal operators to guide them in moving equipment and provide assistance in other activities.
Assisting in the pouring, levelling, and finishing of concrete.
Setting concrete forms and ensuring they are properly aligned.
Operate pneumatic hammers, vibrators and tampers as directed.
Tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction, such as mixers, compressors and pumps.
Clean up chemical spills and other contaminants and remove asbestos and other hazardous materials.
